RIDING LESSONS
WELCOME TO OUR RIDING PROGRAM!
Our customized program is designed to cater to riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced, on our horses. We currently are only focused on Western disciplines. Our experienced instructor will guide riders ages 7 & up through the process of developing skills and improving their connection with the horse. We also offer advanced lessons in ranch riding, reining, and horsemanship! Our lesson students have the opportunity to join our Equestrian Team (grades 4-12)! See information below!

INTRODUCTORY LESSON
Welcome to our program! In this 1- hour, private lesson we will introduce you to horseback riding or perform an evaluation to provide you with an accurate level of prior experience. Beginners with no experience will need to complete our 6-Week Course to continue in the program. Riders with prior experience will be able to join in on an appropriate weekly group/private lesson!

BEGINNER 6-WEEK COURSE
This program is designed to help beginners get comfortable around horses, learn proper safety, grooming, tacking, and foundational riding skills. Additional skills taught include: mounting, dismounting, steering, and proper hand and body position, at the walk, jog, and lope.
Each lesson is 1-hour in a private setting. This course is held consecutively for proper retention of information and comfort of the rider. It is offered at a discounted rate, and is paid for in advance.

1-HOUR PRIVATE LESSON
Riders have the opportunity to advance their skills and learn about all aspects of riding, competing, and improving overall form and effectiveness with the horse. During each lesson, a variety of skill-enhancing exercises and patterns will be used to build rider confidence and ability with the horse. Riders also have the opportunity to join our equestrian team by completing 1 lesson per week, with discounted rates for scheduling one month (4 lessons) at a time.

Our Youth Development Point System encourages riders to set and achieve goals, track progress, and build key life skills both on and off the horse.

Riders earn points throughout the year for their dedication in areas like riding, horse care, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The program is tailored to build perseverance, leadership, and respect, while promoting collaboration and personal growth. We celebrate each riders' personal milestones, helping them become confident, disciplined individuals ready for success in all aspects of life.

Enjoy the experience of showing horses without the expense of owning your own horse!
Steadfast Equestrian Team is available for riders in 4th-12th grade at any experience level through the YEDA competition platform! Team members practice once a week during the show season of August-June! YEDA is a great organization that offers scholarship awards and a National Championship Show! Most shows are in Ohio for easy traveling! The program is designed to develop lifelong skills of confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and adaptability. It also specializes in making connections with collegiate programs.
