MEET RACHEL MOONEY, OWNER & TRAINER
Horses have been an integral part of Rachel's life, shaping her passion for training, competition, and developing both horses and riders.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business, Farm and Ranch Management from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she competed on UT Martin's D1 NCEA Equestrian Team, in Horsemanship and Reining.
Rachel has gained experience through AQHA Professional Doug Rath Performance Horses, Bayhill Farm Equestrian Team, and YEDA (Youth Equestrian Development Association) along with competing in AQHA, 4-H, and competitive open shows such as AAYHS.
Her thoughtful training philosophy creates respectful, responsive horses built on a strong foundation. She emphasizes clear communication and consistency to prepare horses for the show pen.
As a faith-driven operation, Rachel believes honesty, accountability, and integrity should be evident in every aspect of the business-- from how horses are trained to how clients are treated. Her goal is to develop horses and people with character, work ethic, and a strong foundation for continued growth.

Steadfast Equestrian is a family-run facility dedicated to developing quality horses and confident riders.

Through Steadfast Show Horses, we train, prepare, and show horses with an emphasis on bringing out each horse's potential. Alongside our training program, we offer riding lessons and a youth equestrian team. Led by faith, driven by strength, built for growth.

Steadfast Equestrian is owned and operated by a husband-and-wife team with a passion for horse training, competitive showing, and developing riders.

With experience across AQHA, APHA, open shows, collegiate riding, and all-around events, our focus is developing well-rounded horses and riders while preparing them to succeed in the show pen.
